We only had drinks on a hot, March day. Family and dog friendly without the loud music outside. I think football was on inside. It's definitely worth a visit.

We have been here before and had food and it was pleasant. However, we called again on Saturday 1st March 2025 and it was about 4pm. I want to know why the female bar staff could smell "weed". I know it sounds like a frivolous complaint but she had served us the drink. My friend mentioned he had been smoking an ecig that was blackberry!!! All I can think the place wasn't that busy, but we didn't feel comfortable staying there. We are both in our fifties and don't really bother with that stuff. There was an odd vibe about the place and wouldn't return there for either drink or food

My family and I are on holiday here and tried this pub before when we came up last year and the food staff and atmosphere is always impeccable can’t fault it staff are friendly

No student deals allowed here (but use the mixr app?!?!) Had a pint and a double voddy, immediately violated the cubicle (poo - runny)

Came in as a group of 11 on Sunday at 4pm. We’d booked a table for the Liverpool game to have some food before taking the kids to Christmas by the sea. They’d made sure our table was near a TV. The service was on point and the atmosphere was great. Grant & Caz were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. Great start to our evening and we will definitely be back when in the area again. Thanks so much.

Food was poor, i had a mixed grill, tasted horrid, like the char grill had never been cleaned, just tasted burnt, sausage was so overcooked i could of smashed my plate with it, chips were nice and the egg was nice, wife had a burger meal and said it was tasteless, also had an issue where they brought the wrong food out for my wife so she had to wait longer overall unless your not eating i would avoid
